Girrrrl, I love me some shoes. Unfortunately I'm a man + can't wear any many of the pumps that strut down the runways. Though many of them steal my heart - umm... yea they certainly do - it's usually difficult [+ too damn expensive] to secure a few new size 15 pairs of designer heels each season. Thanks to Christian Siriano's RTW Fall 2011 show, there's one less pair of pumps on my must-have list.
With the influx in sporadic runway wipe outs, I think it's time we urge our favorite designers to design with a more practical consumer + surroundings in mind. There's nothing chic about unexpectedly going spaghetti legs mid-walk. Nothing.
